    Who I am today

I happened to be at the bank the other day, attending to some business, waiting for the bank account “specialist” who was on the phone on hold for twenty minutes inquiring as to how he should handle my request, when I noticed an ant crawling around the otherwise vacant expanse of his large desk top. I watched the ant for some time, going first one direction, stopping, then heading off in another, only to stop again and head off in yet another heretofore unexplored direction, all the time feeling its way with its antenna seeming to examine and survey everything in its path. I wondered what it must be like to be that ant. I tried to but myself in the ants body, to identify with that ant, to try to understand its process. To me this ant seemed to be searching for something. Exploring first this way, not finding it, then going off in another direction, searching again, not finding it, and tenaciously going off in yet another direction. Tireless. This is the ants message for me. This is why the ant crossed my field of vision that day in the bank while waiting for the account “specialist’ who was on hold to learn what path he should take to fulfill my request. To show me my path. To reinforce in me the rightness of what I am now doing by being in school, learning and examining myself, searching for that something, that knowledge which will connect me to my future path. Just like that ant.

You are very observant. Many people would have just smashed the ant. It's nice to know that there are other people who look for hidden messages in everyday life. By the way, nice bod!
